A Surprising God – Fan into Flame the Gift of God
What does it mean for us to be chosen by God?
What does it mean that God’s work in us is greater than anything we could do for God?
What does it mean to faithfully serve God where we are?
I’d love to share my story of how God has helped me wrestle with these questions, and how I’ve come to serve as a Ministry Apprentice with Evangelical Students (ES) North Terrace, a Christian Uni club.

In Case You Were Wondering…
Some people were curious about the book we shared on Good Friday. It is called ‘The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross’ written by Carl Laferton and illustrated by Catalina Echeverri. It is available at Koorong, but we intend to have a copy available in our Church Library shortly!
Growing Faith at Home
Dear Church Family,
One of my favorite texts is from Matthew 28:20b ‘And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ (NLT) It links into this week’s GFH title ‘Jesus walks beside us’. It is a truth to hold onto, especially when times are tough. The resource asks: ‘Who do you turn to when you are feeling sad?’ And ‘Have you experienced Jesus alongside you when times have been difficult?’ Sharing these talking points with your family, friends or small group can be enlightening and even comforting to others!
God bless your week!
We give thanks for all those who have contributed to our online devotions this year. Now we are looking for more! If you have one or more of your own that you would like to share, please send them through to the church office via firstname.lastname@example.org

“…Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.”
Please consider the health and safety of others and do not attend the church if you are feeling unwell.
