Identity and Restoration

My Identity is in Christ, however, sometimes I still struggle with my brokenness and how I perceive myself. How can I reconcile that, is there hope for more freedom in this life?

Where Are the Collections Bowls?
The collection bowls have moved… just a little bit.
They are now located next to the two main doors as you exit the church (auditorium). See photos. You are welcome to pop your free-will offering and/or connect cards in them at these new locations!
Great Response to Support for Lutheran Care
The response to our April food collection was amazing. There were 61 bags full of groceries collected on Tuesday. This is the most ever given in any 1 month. The driver who collected our donations said they have come at a very opportune time as the shelves at Lutheran Care were looking very bare.
We pray that Lutheran Care can continue supporting families in need in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Growing Faith at Home
Dear Church Family,
The title for this week’s Growing Faith at Home resource is ‘Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life’. We were reminded again only a few weeks ago at Easter of God’s great love for us through Jesus’ sacrifice and how he opened the way back to God for us. Have a look at this week’s GFH resource for some questions to ponder and some ideas to try out with your friends and family.
Take comfort throughout the coming week resting in the knowledge that we do have a reliable and trustworthy Good Shepherd, who is always looking out for us and who provides everything we need!
School Snippets
It is lovely to be together again after a break from school routine. Students, staff and families reconnecting, sharing stories and gearing up for a wonderful term of learning a growth.
Our principal, David Wilksch, shared that he has accepted a new position of Principal Growth Director with Lutheran Education SA, NT, WA which begins at the start of next term. Evie Stevens and Brett Humphrys will assume roles of Acting Co-principals during the transition period. I encourage you to read the school newsletter for more information about what is happening in our school community. You can click on this link: https://bit.ly/3NBgLAX or pick up a hard copy from the stand in the café area. I am happy to help you out if you would like your own copy.
Chapel Invitation
You are most welcome to join us next Wednesday morning at 8:50am for Chapel. There are many intriguing stories in the bible… Pastor Rolly will be joining us as we explore the account of a talking donkey! Love to see you for Wednesday Worship and Coffee afterwards!
God bless your week.
Georgie
