I’ll Have Mine with a Twist

The best books and movies have a plot twist that takes the reader/viewer by surprise. What’s the best twist that you’ve ever encountered?

Reading: Ephesians 1:3-14

He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he purposed in Christ as a plan for the right time – to bring together in Christ, both things in heaven and things on earth in him. ~Ephesians 1:9,10

Don’t you love it when websites or blogs or whatever have the words ‘Spoiler Alert’ as if somehow by telling the reader that you’re going to spoil the ending, they’ll stop reading.

We’re always fascinated by the unexpected plot twist. Even though we know it’s coming and we’re waiting for it, It’s always awesome to be surprised.

In the story of God, the plot takes an incredible twist in Jesus because the Son comes out of nowhere when people least expected it. How surprised were they when Jesus showed up and said, ‘Today, the scriptures (and all of their interconnected details and rules) have been fulfilled in your midst.’
