Growing Faith at Home
Wednesday, 1st November, was ‘All Saints Day’… a day to remember loved ones who have passed away. Losing someone you love is difficult and it takes time to process. God understands and is with us, even as we mourn, offering his comfort.
You may consider the action response for this week. ‘Light a candle for any of your relatives or friends who have died. Share memories. Read Revelation 21:1-4 and pray this prayer: Lord God, we thank you for the life of (name). Thank you for the blessings that came to us through them. Thank you that they now have eternal life with you. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.’ Have a look at this week’s resource for more ideas to consider.
KAPS – Years 2- 7 – Younger Siblings’ Welcome
We had a lot of fun last Sunday. The weather was kind and we enjoyed outdoor water games, inside worship and a meal afterwards. Our last KAPS event for this year is coming up on Sunday 26th November, from 4 to7pm. (Please note extended time.) We will be celebrating Christmas in November, so pop it in your diaries now!

School Snippets
This week we welcomed Kim Reddy to our school administration team in the role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator. She has hit the ground running, familiarizing herself with our school and attending to a variety of tasks. We welcome Kim and pray that she settles in quickly into our community. Today (Friday) we launched Lutheran Care’s ‘12 Days of Giving’ at school. You could describe it as a ‘reverse Advent Calendar’ where families contribute items that will help with Lutheran Care’s Christmas hampers this year. We look forward to sharing God’s love and provision through this initiative. For more of what we’ve been up to, please click on this link for the school newsletter: https://inewsletter.co/J1WDLx/latest Of course, a printed copy is available in the café area, and I am happy to arrange your own copy if you would like!
Wednesday Worship
We began our Wednesday Worship Christmas theme this week focusing on Light in the darkness. Please have a look at this week’s devotion for a reflection of what was shared. Next week we look forward to hearing from Mrs Abraham as she shares another part of the Christmas story. As always, you are welcome to join us at 8:50am for worship, fellowship and coffee. Hope to see you soon! God bless your week!
